Christmas in the Ville: A Pop-Up Municipal Ice Rink
In 2025, Rinks-R-Us helped the City of Adamsville, Tennessee bring ice skating to Christmas in the Ville, an annual community celebration tied to the city’s Christmas Parade. The one-night event featured an 1,100 sq. ft. portable synthetic ice rink beneath a pavilion in a public park. Its success led Adamsville to bring the rink back in 2026 and expand the experience from one day to three.

A Christmas Parade Attraction Designed to Grow
The City of Adamsville wanted to add a memorable family activity to Christmas in the Ville without committing to a large rink or a season-long installation. Rinks-R-Us provided a compact portable synthetic ice rink that could operate beneath the pavilion at Buford Pusser Memorial Park without refrigeration, water, or freezing temperatures.
The 1,100 sq. ft. rink opened for one night during Christmas in the Ville, on the same night as the city’s 2025 Christmas Parade. The event proved successful enough for Adamsville to bring the rink back in 2026 and extend the rental across Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
